I recently ran through 29 of Chicago’s neighborhoods in the 2010 Bank of America Chicago Marathon™. It was a tough race, with temperatures in the 80s, beating sunshine and mile markers seeming farther apart as the race went on. Prior to the marathon, I trained daily for nearly a year, anticipating positive results on race day.
In running, a “PR” stands for Personal Record. When preparing for a new race or challenge, I am always setting new goals, trying to achieve a new PR. I also like to apply this approach to a different “PR”: public relations.
