- Midan Marketing is the brainchild of principals DANETTE AMSTEIN and MICHAEL UETZ. In case you’re wondering, our company name (pronounced MY-den) comes from the combination of the first two letters of Michael’s name (Mi) and the first three letters of Danette’s name (Dan).
- Before launching Midan Marketing in 2004, Michael and Danette owned their own businesses, each built upon more than 15 years of marketing success. Prior to owning their own businesses, the two knew each other through previous work with the National Cattleman’s Beef Association.
- They decided to join forces to create greater efficiencies and to offer a broader range of services to their clients. With the addition of a talented staff to carry out their creative vision,
Midan Marketing has evolved into a one-stop shop for organizations seeking customized marketing, market research and communications programs.
- While we do work for a wide variety of clients from healthcare providers to churches, when you take a look at our client list and our principals’ backgrounds, you’ll notice a common theme.
We live, breathe, eat, read about, write about and talk about meat.
- Both Michael and Danette have backgrounds working on their respective family’s farm. Both later continued that passion while working in the meat industry, specifically the National Cattleman’s Beef Association. Michael and Danette lead the Midan team to the forefront of the issues in the meat industry from retail merchandising and brand development to nutrition labeling.
- Our expertise includes research, focus groups, public relations, communications and creative development. See OUR WORK for examples in these areas.
