Account Executive


The account executive is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with our clients and working strategically with them to create greater customer value and achieve competitive advantage. Responsibilities include evaluating and understanding client needs, developing, implementing and managing strategic plans and budget reconciliations.  The account executive also identifies opportunities for incremental business.  The account executive is the “go to” person on a day-to-day basis for the client and works closely with all Midan teams to provide marketing support to key clients and to coordinate all efforts to ensure that clients’ needs are met.

Specific Responsibilities

  1. Work with key clients to understand their marketing needs and develop, execute and evaluate effective marketing programs that satisfy those needs. Identify changing client needs and opportunities for incremental business
  2. Act as the primary agency contact for client and be the source of information and programming resources for internal teams
  3. Develop an Activities Calendar for client and manage the efficient and effective execution of those activities based on deadlines agreed upon by client and Account Executive
  4. Work with project management to create timelines for the development and execution of client marketing programs
  5. When necessary, solicit assistance from other teams (creative, communications, market research, public relations, etc.) to provide support and information to satisfy client needs. Coordinate all activities through project management  to ensure desired resources are available when needed
  6. Manage budgets and billings and provide regular management reports on all efforts for each client


Minimum of five years of experience in CPG marketing, retail or agency account management

Excellent organizational, communication, analytical and writing skills; detail-oriented

Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments

Must be willing to travel (approximately 25%)

Education, Training and Network:

Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree a plus) in marketing, animal science, meat science, agri-business or production

Food and fresh meat marketing experience; knowledge of livestock production and/or experience is beneficial to this position
