When The Food Industry Association (FMI) and the North American Meat Institute (NAMI) wanted to rebrand for its first in-person event since the pandemic, they partnered with Midan, AMC’s official marketing partner. Insights from our surveys showed that key stakeholders and retailers were eager to reconnect with colleagues: Our campaign provided the payoff they needed to drive record attendance at the event.

The new AMC logo — which hadn’t been updated in years — was designed to give the mark staying power and celebrate the connections that unite the meat industry. The theme, “Protein Made Personal,” communicated AMC’s role in customizing protein’s advantages to each attendee’s unique needs.

The new AMC logo — the first update in [TBD] years — was designed to give the mark staying power and celebrate the connections that unite the meat industry. The theme, “Protein Made Personal,” communicated AMC’s role in customizing protein’s advantages to each attendee’s unique needs.

Midan created a campaign to drive attendance, increase exhibitor engagement and connect grocery retailers and meat suppliers from around the world. This campaign included new brand identity, ads, email and website promos and onsite graphics promoting AMC as “the ultimate personalized protein experience.”

Together with Parable Pictures, Midan’s video production division, we created a video that introduced and explained the new brand identity to open the 2023 Annual Meat Conference.

Midan also redesigned the logo for the event’s keynote presentation, the Power of Meat* — an analysis of shoppers’ attitudes and purchasing decisions delivered by meat industry analyst Anne-Marie Roerink.

Midan’s campaign defined the experience as a can’t-miss attraction. With 115 total exhibitors and 1,958 registered, AMC 2023’s registration was 10% higher than pre-pandemic levels and drove record attendance from around the world.
