Account Coordinator

Overview

The Account Coordinator provides supporting activities across various clients to support larger program efforts. In some cases, this individual will also be designated as the lead team member for programs.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Account Team Support
  • Schedule meetings and calls
  • Review social media postings and advertisements
  • Support team strategically through participation in brainstorming and familiarization of foundational documents, marketing plans, and budgets
  • Project Management Support
  • Support needed actions on project level daily to keep projects on schedule and on budget
  • Assist with project entry into project management program
  • Manage submission of projects to the legal department and communicate any needed changes to the team
  • Create and manage barcodes and coupons as needed and complete internal and external barcode verification
  • Support project and budget management by participating in weekly action register calls and monthly reconciliation reviews
  • Client Services Support
  • Support clients as backup for account executive as needed
  • Fulfill client and customer requests for photos and documents as needed
  • Provide the team’s weekly priorities and schedules to clients
  • Respond to consumer inquiries
  • In some cases, this individual will also be designated as the lead team member for programs.
  • Work closely with account management to assist with project development from beginning to end
  • Work closely with the account management team to ensure quality delivery of initiatives to the client’s satisfaction
  • Plan and coordinate internal and external resources, including vendors and development partners, throughout all stages of the project life cycle
  • Proactively handle dependency, risk/issue management and problem resolution
  • Provide updated status reporting to senior management and account executives

Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational, communication, analytical and writing skills; detail-oriented
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments

 

Education, Training and Network

  • Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree a plus) in marketing, animal science, meat science, agri-business or production
  • Food and fresh meat marketing experience; knowledge of livestock production and/or experience is beneficial to this position
