Graphic Designer


Our graphic designer will contribute to and work with design team to brainstorm ideas and bring these ideas to fruition. Graphic Designers are responsible for look and feel exploration, conceptual and visual development, and final execution of design directions. In addition, they assist in asset creation and presentation preparation.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Fully participate in creative strategy and concept development for client projects
  • Brainstorm/mock up concepts
  • Assist in the development of creative designs/layouts for client projects; projects include but are not limited to websites, blogs, ads (online and print), logos, e-newsletters, brochures, flyers, sell sheets and point-of-sale materials
  • Make revisions to designs
  • Stay current with design trends and software
  • Update Image Library as necessary and provide photography/graphics for projects
  • Identify and read publications that will inspire creativity in design concepts
  • Update project status in on a daily basis
  • See projects through the review and printing process and close projects out
  • Get printer quotes
  • Have fun!
  • Other work as directed


  • One year of working experience as a graphic designer (agency experience preferred)
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite CS5, Word press, social media applications; HTML and CSS helpful
  • Artistic sensibility
  • Understanding of design, color and typography principles
  • Understanding of branding
  • Ability to plan and organize content
  • Ability to stay on budget and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently as well as on a team
  • Quick and eager learner
  • Ability to handle multiple projects on tight deadlines
  • Strong organization, communication and problem solving skills
  • Understanding of printing process

Education, Training and Network

Bachelor’s degree in graphic design communications and/or related fields, with a strong portfolio. BFA preferred
